New generations and feathers


Autumn encounters: new generations, a young Kookaburra, and moulted feathers, one from the Kookaburra's tail.

  1. Interesting bird species, its tail seems a bit too short for its body and head, it still looks like a "baby"!
    Will it grow a longer tail when adult?

  5. Bello, delicato, ben impaginato, ma...come mai il rametto sul becco? Volevi nasconderne l'aggressività? Mi piacerebbe saperlo, è una scelta particolare.

  6. Grazie a tutti, in realta' il ramo non e' sul becco ma davanti al kookaburra, non e' un uccello aggressivo, non c'e' nessun intento di nasconderne l'aggressivita'..pura scelta estetica e compositiva.

  7. Grazie Matteo, non parlavo di aggressività effettiva ma formale (il becco duro e affilato versus la morbidezza del piumaggio e del tuo acquerello)...
